On Sunday, September 24, 2017, the Ontario Conference Board of Directors appointed Halsey Peat and Donald McIntyre to positions left unfilled at the Conference’s constituency meeting. Halsey Peat was re-appointed as assistant to the president, with responsibilities for strategic planning.

Ontario Conference Elects Mansfield Edwards to Third Term as President

David Schwinghammer and Virene Meikle Voted as Executive Secretary and Treasurer, Respectively

On the opening day of its three-day constituency meeting at College Park Adventist Church, delegates of the Ontario Conference of Seventh-day Adventists have voted Pastor Mansfield Edwards to a five-year term as president. It is Edward’s third term, having been elected for the first time in 2009 and then again in 2013.

A major forest fire in Greece, last night (August 14), came within a few meters of destroying the Adventist Youth campsite, Camp Kalamos.  The camp is located in a beautiful forested area on the coast 31 miles or 50km north-east of Athens.
