Introducing Dr. Rohann Wellington, AMC 2026 Workshop Presenter

The Ontario Conference Adventist Ministries Convention (AMC) will be held on March 13–14, 2026, at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites, located at 600 Highway 7, Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Featuring more than 60 workshops, AMC 2026 is designed to help church leaders sharpen their ministry skills and expand their impact. One featured workshop, From Engagement to Growth: Building a Sustainable Digital Discipleship Ecosystem, equips churches to develop a digital discipleship pathway that guides people from online engagement to spiritual growth. Participants will learn how to create meaningful content, foster digital community, organise volunteer teams, and integrate digital tools with in-person ministry, all within a practical, customizable framework.

This 2-part workshop will be led by Dr. Rohann D. Wellington, a seasoned communicator, pastor, and media strategist who serves as Assistant to the Vice President for Digital Media and Director of Professional Services for the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. A former CNN media professional, Dr. Wellington uniquely combines his expertise in broadcast journalism with theological training to advance innovative ministry initiatives across the Division.

Dr. Wellington holds degrees in Business, Theology, Communication, as well as a Doctor of Ministry in Organizational Leadership from Andrews University, where he also coaches doctoral students in the mass media cohort. He serves as a U.S. Air Force Reserve Chaplain (Captain) and as a chaplain to a federal law enforcement agency in Washington, D.C.

A passionate evangelist, Dr. Wellington has preached globally and is widely recognised for his community service, receiving national awards and congressional honours. He is married to Lisa Reynolds, and together they are the proud parents of Ariel and Jaxon.
