As previously announced, Pastor Dwain Esmond of the Ellen G. White Estate was scheduled to serve as the main speaker for the upcoming Adventist Ministries Convention (AMC). Due to unforeseen circumstances, he is no longer able to attend. We are pleased, however, to share that Dr. Manuel Moral has graciously accepted the invitation to serve as AMC’s Friday evening speaker.
Dr Moral holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counselling with a specialisation in Marriage and Family Therapy from Webster University. An ordained minister, he earned both a Master of Ministry and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Theology from Andrews University. He also completed a PhD in Psychology at Northcentral University, where his research focused on systemic family theory.
Dr. Moral is a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) in Missouri and Alabama and holds National Certified Counsellor (NCC) credentials from the National Board for Certified Counsellors. He is also a certified chaplain with advanced training in pastoral care across hospital, community, and university campus settings.
Since August 2018, Dr. Moral has served at Oakwood University as Associate Professor of Religion and Theology and has also taught as an adjunct professor of psychology. In 2024, he was promoted to Full Professor, and in 2025, he was granted tenure. He has contributed to peer-reviewed journals and authored a chapter in an academic volume. Oakwood University, located in Huntsville, Alabama, has provided distinguished educational services for over 129 years.
We look forward to receiving God’s inspiration through Dr. Moral, who will deliver the message, “Discipleship and Mission in the End Times.”
Registration has been extended until March 10.
