Celebrate Christian Home and Marriage Week 2026 with a Powerful New Family Resource
February 4, 2026 | Allan Chichester | Ontario Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
As families face growing challenges in a digitally driven world, the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists invites churches and homes to refocus on what matters most: faith-filled families and Christ-centred relationships. The 2026 General Conference Family Ministries Resource Book, titled Family, Faith, and Focus in a Digital World, is available at a crucial moment. This resource offers practical strategies and spiritual guidance specifically designed to help families connect more deeply, overcome digital distractions, and build resilient, faith-filled homes.
Today, technology and social media often compete for attention within the home, sometimes weakening face-to-face connections and faith development. Yet this year’s resource delivers an encouraging message of hope. In the preface, General Conference Family Ministries Directors, Drs. Willie and Elaine Oliver remind families and leaders: “You don’t have to choose between faith and the digital world. Technology isn’t the enemy, it’s a tool. And like any tool, it amplifies what’s already in our hearts.” When used intentionally, technology can become a powerful ally in strengthening marriages, nurturing children, and growing faith at home.
This resource is designed to support Christian Home and Marriage Week, which will be celebrated February 14–21, 2026, in churches around the world, including throughout the Ontario Conference. During this special week of emphasis, congregations are encouraged to highlight God’s design for the home and to invest intentionally in marriage and family discipleship.
The resource includes sermons, children’s stories, seminars, and family activities. These tools help pastors, leaders, and families build stronger relationships, deepen spiritual life, and make disciples in a digital world.
Churches and families are encouraged to download and use this valuable resource during Christian Home and Marriage Week and beyond. Access it via the link below and join the global church in strengthening families for time and for eternity.
