The Ontario Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is seeking a motivated, creative Communications Intern to join our team for a two-year, full-time internship. This opportunity is designed for recent college graduates passionate about communication, storytelling, media, and digital engagement, who will gain practical experience in a mission-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating engaging content for print, digital, and social media platforms.
• Write and edit articles, news releases, website content, and promotional materials.
• Support photography, videography, and multimedia production for events and ministry initiatives.
• Help manage social media channels and monitor audience engagement.
• Assist with communication campaigns, marketing projects, and special events.
• Perform other communications-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a bachelor's degree or diploma in Communications, Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media, or a closely related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design, photography, video editing, or content management systems is an asset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a professional team environment.
• Alignment with the mission and values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is preferred.
