Metro West & Metro West Central Regional Camp Meeting 2026: Following Jesus Together

The Metro West and Metro West Central Regional Camp Meeting 2026, held on Sabbath, July 4, 2026, was a day of worship, fellowship, and spiritual renewal that left a lasting impact on all who attended.
The event was hosted at Catch the Fire Church in Etobicoke, Ontario, where the Adult and Children's programs were held, while the Youth program took place simultaneously at Toronto Perth Seventh-day Adventist Church, also in Etobicoke. Through the collaborative efforts of pastors, church leaders, volunteers, and members, God blessed the day with meaningful worship and a renewed commitment to discipleship.
Throughout the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the purpose of camp meetings has been to bring believers together for renewal, encouragement, and empowerment as they continue the Christian journey while awaiting the second advent of Jesus Christ.
With this purpose in mind, the Metro West and Metro West Central regional districts of churches within the Ontario Conference worked collaboratively to create a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for everyone in attendance.
Working Together for God's Glory
The success and lasting impact of this camp meeting testify to what can be accomplished when pastors and lay members work together under the guidance of the Lord. This spirit of collaboration was evident not only in the planning and execution of the event but also in the seamless production and presentation of each service.
Many attendees, both in person and online, commented on the smooth flow and engaging nature of the program throughout the day. The entire experience reflected healthy diversity, meaningful fellowship, and rich spiritual blessings. Our regional camp meeting affirmed the value of total membership involvement and demonstrated how unity amid diversity strengthens the mission of Christ.
An Outstanding Response
A camp meeting can only fulfill its purpose when it receives the support and participation of the church membership. Despite the unique format of this year's regional camp meeting, attendance exceeded expectations across the adult, youth, and children's programs.
The Youth Division, hosted at Toronto Perth Seventh-day Adventist Church, reached approximately 90% seating capacity during the Divine Service, with similarly strong attendance in the adult service at Catch the Fire Church. These encouraging numbers suggest that members welcomed the opportunity to participate in a camp meeting where they could grow spiritually, be inspired, and deepen their commitment to following Jesus Christ.
"Follow Me"
Centred on the theme "Follow Me," the day's messages challenged attendees to deepen their relationship with Jesus and embrace a life of faithful discipleship.
Dr. Dewaine Frazer and Pastor Adrian Wallace faithfully proclaimed God's Word through messages that were both inspiring and practical. Their presentations encouraged members to move beyond simply belonging to the church and to become fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
The Youth program was especially impactful. Parents expressed appreciation for the interactive and engaging approach to preaching, while the enthusiasm and participation of our young people throughout the day reflected the vitality of the next generation.
Looking Ahead with Gratitude
Reflecting on the experience, Pastor Adrian Wallace shared:
"We leave this new frontier of our regional camp meeting setting with much to build upon in the years ahead. With grateful hearts and thankful spirits, we press on toward the higher calling of God's will for our lives."
As we thank God for His abundant blessings, we also celebrate every pastor, ministry leader, volunteer, musician, technician, and member who contributed to the success of this special day.
