Details & Info
Greetings OCLEA Members,
I pray that you have been walking in God’s keeping care since we last came together at our Annual Meeting.
We bid a fond farewell to our faithful and talented OCLEA officers, Hopeton Blake, Cheryl Bailey, Rainford Cornish and Claudette Charles, as they pass the baton. And welcome to the Executive our newest members: Jennifer Peart, Gwendolyn Newell and McDonald Enmore who join us in this leadership journey as we walk in God’s leading.
Leonardo Barboza, Nina Simons, Sandra Dowers, David Ross and I, express sincere thanks for the vote of confidence expressed in our continuation in service to OCLEA. It has been a welcome privilege and enriching experience. To God be praised!
Before we move into 2022, we express thanks to each of you for your service on behalf of OCLEA as you minister for the cause of God and utilize OCLEA as a means of learning and growth. We continue to give thanks for Dr. Hazelwood’s commitment to the laity and lifting us such that we can be better equipped for the call!
Please Save-the-Date of Friday, December 17 @ 6:30 pm, for our year end Prayer Vigil ‘Prayer in Praise and Preparation’ as we reflect on journey of 2021 and prepare for the unknown corridors of 2022.
Please note the attached flyer and meeting details below. Feel free to invite others to this special prayer service. If there was a time to pray, lament and praise, it is truly now…..

In closing we’d like to encourage you that as you lay your plans before the Lord for 2022, to consider the admonition from Dr. Hazelwood to each of member of OCLEA:
- Get involve with your church Evangelistic thrust for 2022.
- If you are trained in Lay Preaching, offer your service and volunteer to be involved in a Lay Evangelistic program at your church.
- If you are trained as a Bible Instructor, volunteer to be involved in sharing Bible studies with guests who visit your church.
We look forward to seeing you at the Prayer Vigil and working together in ministry!
