Plant a Legacy: Grow God’s Kingdom
Posted: May 20th, 2026

As the Ontario Conference continues its observance of Leave a Legacy Month, members are encouraged to reflect on the lasting impact of faithful stewardship and intentional Christian living. This week’s emphasis centres on a simple yet meaningful reminder: we are called to plant seeds of faith today that will bless future generations tomorrow.
Under the theme, “Plant a Legacy. Grow God’s Kingdom,” church members are invited to consider how daily acts of faithfulness—through service, generosity, and stewardship—can continue advancing God’s work for years to come. Legacy living is not only about what we leave behind, but also about how we live for Christ each day.
Matthew 6:20 reminds us, “Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven…” This verse serves as a powerful reminder that investments made in God’s kingdom carry eternal value and lasting influence.
Members are encouraged to prayerfully consider ways they can support ministry and outreach for future generations. Legacy giving is not about wealth, but about faithfulness and a desire to continue pointing others to Christ.
Church members are also reminded that thoughtful planning today can provide care for their families while supporting the mission they love. Even a small planned gift can help strengthen ministry, outreach, and evangelism efforts for years to come.
